CITATION FINE

The civil penalty in the City of Chattanooga for speeding through an enforced area or violating a red traffic signal is $50.  There are no driver’s license or insurance points assessed for the violation.  

CITATION PAYMENT OPTIONS

Automated traffic citations may be paid in the following ways:

Online:

Only Visa and Mastercard payments are accepted online.

MAIL 
When paying a citation by mail, please enclose the payment receipt and a money order or cashier’s check (DO NOT SEND CASH) for the amount indicated on the front of the citation.  Make checks payable to “Chattanooga City Court Clerk.”  Mail payments to the following address:

WALK-IN 
Walk-in payments will be accepted at Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm at the office located below.  Money order, cashier’s check, Visa, MasterCard, or cash are accepted when paying in person.
